In this section, you will learn how SAP Process Mining by Celonis 4 is structured and how permissions can be organized and granted to users and groups.

In SAP Process Mining by Celonis 4, analyses are structured in projects. A project contains documentsdata models and folders, whereas folders can contain documents, data models and other folders.

As you can see in the graph above, permissions can be set for each of the three project elements (documents, data models and folders). These permissions do either apply for a single user or for a user group, which can contain several users. This concept allows the application of different user rights to different user/groups for each project component, a very powerful and simple way to assign user rights.

To learn more about users and groups, please refer to another chapter (link tba soon).

Please note, that every project has a ROOT directory. This is the place, where all documents, data models and folders of the project are located. You can check the project toolbar (see Homescreen) for more information.

As you now understand the structure, you can start adding Users or Groups and set their permissions.
