The Data Model includes a varity of different tables and the deffinition of their settings (MappedName, Column Prefix, PrimaryKey, etc.). The tables are joined via primary- and foreign-key . Furthermore the case-, activity- and process-tables are configured here.

In a Document you can persistantly save process analyses. It is the core element of SAP Process Mining by Celonis where you can use the process explorer, a variaty of graphics and tables, as well as the definition of KPIs, to do process analyses. It also offers the opportunity to specify the analysis via powerfull filters.

With this filter you can limit the data of your table that is available for analyses (e.g. only allow entries that have been made after a certain date).

This field contains the name of the table as specified in the database your Data Source is linked to. The field will normally be filled automatically.

Data Type allows you to set the data type of the column. However, data types will be determined automatically based on the specifications made in the database and you usually do not need to make any changes to these settings.

Insert the Database Dialect your database is using. If you chose one of the templates in the “Template” field, the correct string will be inserted automatically.

Specify the correct driver for your database. If you chose one of the templates in the "Template" field, the correct driver will be inserted automatically.

The Data Administrator can create, edit and delete new Data Stores and Data Models as well as share them with other users. Please note that while the Data Administrator does have full flexibility in modifying Data Sources and Data Models created by him, he does not have access rights to Data Sources or Data Models created by other Data Administrators unless they have been shared with him. The access rights for analyses depend on whether he has been given the “Viewer” or “Analyst“ role.

Access the data management area (if you have been granted the role “Data Administrator”). Here, Data Sources and Data Modles can be created, edited, deleted or shared.

As its name implies, a Data Store basically is a place where data can be stored. Data Stores need to contain one or several Data Models that each consist of a combination of tables available in the Data Store. Data Stores cannot be chosen as data basis for analyses, only the Data Models contained in them can.

Access the template section. Here, new templates can be created and saved. Templates can be used for the creation of new documents.
