This chapter will be of interest for users utilizing CPM 3.1 in "View-Mode" meaning for users with "Viewer" roles. In this case, somebody has created an analysis and granted read access to this document to the user. The user will only open and view analyses but has no intention in modifying or creating them.

At first glance, giving access to the system to read-only users might not seem very promising as the information could simply passed to them via a PDF export for example. However, the new implementation of dynamic filters in CPM allows even read-only users to conduct powerful analyses of the data adjusted to their special needs and interests. A description of dynamic filtering will be given in Working with dynamic filters.
